We know that this year has been a whirlwind of emotions and situations that, although a bit unexpected, we’ve enjoyed—a year shaped by personal development and inner growth, both socially and professionally, and even on a romantic level. But come on… Don’t get down, because one year is ending, BUT WATCH OUT! Another year is beginning, and right now, we can share the good news that 2019 has in store for you. Yes, just as you’ve read, 2019 is kicking off with a bang; and of course we can’t fail to mention the great THREE WISE MEN. If we think back a bit, we recall that the story of the Wise Men is linked to the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, and, just as the Gospel recounts, it is said that he received a visit from the Three Wise Men, and each of them brought a gift to celebrate the birth. These gifts were kept in precious chests, and inside they carried myrrh, gold, and frankincense to symbolize the wealth and all the good things that his arrival on earth represented.

Now, as you well know, we can’t give you gold or myrrh, but if you’re a fan of incense, our beautiful girls could delight you with unique scents and make you feel like a true king. The years may pass, but our dedication to our select clientele will always take precedence above all else. Looking back a bit, no one knows for certain exactly where they came from, but it’s believed they originated somewhere in Persia or Babylon. In Spain, starting in the 19th century, the tradition began of turning Three Kings’ Night into a children’s celebration with gifts for the kids, modeled after what was done in other countries on Christmas Day, in honor of the Eastern saint Saint Nicholas. It was in 1866 that the first Three Kings parade was held in Alcoy, a tradition that spread to the rest of the country and later to other countries, especially those with a Hispanic cultural heritage.

But let’s be honest: this celebration won’t just be for kids, since we’re adapting to the needs of all those who aren’t quite so young anymore and are looking for something more exciting and fresh; that’s why our beautiful princesses will make their dream of being a king come true. It would be irresponsible of us to let a new year begin without offering these kinds of surprises; Our focus is always on fully satisfying our customers, on growing as a company and as individuals; we’re grounded in respect, and thanks to this, we can say with absolute certainty that we’re growing with responsibility and dedication, without neglecting the efforts of each and every person who allows us to evolve, to be, and to exist.

To our beautiful girls, who are always there for us, and of course, to all the kings who hire our services—it’s for them that we’re working hard and preparing for a bright future in this new chapter of our lives: the New Year. According to tradition, one of the requirements the Three Kings set for children to receive their gifts is that they have behaved properly and been good throughout the year. In the case of adults, the tradition is a bit less strict, as our only requirements are financial stability and respect—because remember that, above all, a king must know how to behave in the presence of one of our precious princesses. Those who meet these requirements receive gifts, but those who do not behave as they should receive coal instead of gifts—sweet coal that symbolizes the need for the child to change their attitude. As for adults, they will receive absolutely nothing (if you think about it, at least the children get something, compared to what an adult gets if their attitude isn’t right); we’ll also talk about the exquisite Roscón de Reyes, which is a ring-shaped pastry made of fine dough, more or less rounded, decorated with colorful pieces of candied fruit—but let’s be honest, I’m not going to lie to you: our Roscón isn’t like the traditional oven-baked version; ours comes in the form of kisses, caresses, soft skin, and plenty of indulgence… So now you know—don’t let Three Kings Day go unnoticed, and treat yourself to something delicious.
