This year marks the 25th edition of the festival, which will take place in Barcelona on July 18, 19, and 20. Tickets are available starting at 79 euros (S\u00f3nar Night), 58 euros (S\u00f3nar Day), 195 euros (three-day pass), 135 euros (2 nights), 195 euros (2 VIP nights), and the extremely hard-to-get (Full VIP Pass) for 350 euros, which grants access to all concerts and a selection of activities.<\/p>\n

S\u00f3nar Barcelona’s activities are divided into two main venues: S\u00f3nar by Day, held at Fira Montju\u00efc, featuring concerts and showcases, and S\u00f3nar+D, the International Conference on the digital transformation of the creative industries to foster talent, knowledge exchange, and business opportunities; and the major shows of S\u00f3nar by Night, at Fira Gran Via in L’Hospitalet, where the biggest names on the international music scene take the stage.<\/p>\n
S\u00f3nar+D presents a program of activities designed to be useful to various creative communities, offering training sessions, opportunities for the exchange of ideas, and tools for financing projects. S\u00f3nar+D reflects all phases of the creative process with a single goal: to make the relationship between creativity, technology, innovation, and business more visible and accessible in an organic environment focused on new creative and professional profiles.<\/p>\n
Since 2002, S\u00f3nar has organized more than 50 festivals in different parts of the world, adapting the philosophy of the Barcelona festival to unique venues and settings, showcasing the most interesting international talent and the local scene of the country where each festival takes place. In addition to the Barcelona event, S\u00f3nar organizes festivals in other cities every year. The festival has traveled to Reykjav\u00edk, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Buenos Aires, New York, London, Cape Town, Frankfurt, Seoul, Lisbon, Lyon, Hamburg, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, Boston, Denver, Oakland, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Osaka, among other destinations. <\/p>\n
After the concerts, there are showcases for anyone who\u2019s interested. A showcase is a short performance of 3 to 5 songs that musicians put on at a record store or shopping mall to present and promote their new album to the public; these events are free. Usually, after the showcases, the artists hold autograph sessions or take photos with fans. <\/p>\n
