How to Seduce Charismatic People
June 30, 2026For the “Lovers,” their forbidden relationship is a waiting game with “their hands tied.”
They need nerves of steel and a great deal of patience. Waiting… for the next call, a new date, a postcard from their vacation spot, a WhatsApp message, an email, for better times to come… and even a future together…
We all need to express our thoughts, be heard, and be encouraged; we also need to communicate with those around us—to speak, listen, and discuss—and to have the opportunity to give or seek advice.
Social isolation threatens the lover; the endless wait and her estrangement from her surroundings cause her world of experiences to be reduced to her own person, to the self.
The Lovers lead a double life filled with emotions and changes that they would like to discuss openly and honestly with others, but they cannot, and this causes them a great deal of anxiety.
They are tormented by countless questions they don’t dare ask anyone, feelings they believe they have no right to feel—feelings that make them happy and torment them at the same time.
Having to keep her feelings to herself often makes the lover feel suffocated in the relationship itself, as well as deeply insecure about herself, her friends, and her partner—especially if she lacks family or friends who are willing to be understanding and listen.
“The Eternal Lover”:
“Mature lovers” want to commit, but at the same time, they are often very afraid of the consequences of a relationship.
That fear of commitment and the simultaneous desire to belong often have something to do with a conscious or unconscious rejection.
Just as her dependence reveals her fear of loneliness, her need for distance is a sign of an equal fear of intimacy that is too close, since the more she opens up to someone, the more vulnerable she is to being hurt.
“The Lover” is generally not incapable of committing; rather, she is wary of emotional commitment for various reasons.
In her relationship with her husband, she displays an extreme capacity for commitment that can border on dependence, but neither her marked need for support nor her marked need for freedom is “normal.”
We should also note that this phenomenon is not limited to isolated cases or an individual problem; in fact, in many Western societies, one in three marriages ends in divorce due to an inability to commit emotionally.
The inability to commit is a conscious or unconscious defense mechanism against the loss of her identity as a confident, independent woman.
The inner conflict between being a woman and being free prevents her from committing herself and falling into recklessness where danger is imminent…
These women can’t find the right man because they aren’t really looking for him!
As we have said before, the root of all problems lies in early childhood, and this is what explains any variation in attachment issues. Let’s look at some examples here:
-The Princess: Daddy’s favorite daughter. As a result, normal guys are way too ordinary for her… too bad!!
-The Samaritan Woman: She had a very sensitive father, and as a result… she feels called to offer moral support to the vulnerable and the down-and-outs.
-The stepdaughter: She always felt belittled, and she never learned to say no. She settled for second best and changes her status instead of changing partners.
The problem of the “eternal mistress” is a vicious cycle that seems to drive certain women toward unattainable men as if it were an intimate need or a secret imperative. The reason for this is that these women have known no other role since childhood than that of rivals to their own mothers, and have struggled to win their father’s favor.
There may be a grain of truth to all this, or the unconscious mind may actually play dirty tricks, but any lover who hears this theory will get goosebumps just from being asked if they really want to share the man they love with another woman.
“The Mistress” and her “drug-dealer”:
Very often, the “addicted mistress” finds in her married friend someone capable of offering her much of what she misses so deeply: an understanding listener, the satisfaction of being desired and loved with tenderness or passion… physical and emotional affection.
But if we look at it objectively, behind most of these relationships lies a belief “in true love” rather than in “true love.” From comments made by various lovers, the impression emerges that there are primarily two factors that play a very decisive role and keep them together:
The primary sense of belonging:
Emotional, intellectual, and/or physical deficiencies.
They end up losing their identity and merging with “him.” As for them, they already face limitations at home and cannot afford mergers of this kind.
That’s when the “Other Woman” can start to become emotionally dependent on “him,” like an addiction that’s hard to overcome.
Dependence… a trap…
Dependence is learned; it is not genetically determined.
We can say, then, that the origins of dependence go back to the earliest days of childhood…! Just like almost everything else!
The overwhelming fear of isolation and loneliness drives these women to “love”… to find security through the people they believe they love. They tend to subordinate themselves to others and become dependent on them, channeling their energy into seeking love, protection, and help from whatever they perceive as threatening—which, in most cases, are their own fears and inner anxieties about the world.
We can also say that one of the causes of dependence—and its root—is education.
It is the tragedy of generations of women and men who, from a young age, were taught to find satisfaction only indirectly.
In other words, they aren’t happy about their success, but rather about the praise they’ve been able to garner thanks to that success; to put it another way, more important than their own satisfaction and whether things are to their liking is the impact they’ve achieved through it.
The unconscious warns against independence—equating it with danger, loss of love, or abandonment—which is why the “Others” prefer to remain in the shadows and become the perfect embodiment of “Sleeping Beauty,” who waits and waits, rather than expose themselves to the threatening fear that fighting for their goals might bring.
Proposing a change:
Putting an end to a situation does not automatically lead to a breakup with your loved one.
The primary goal should be, at first, to learn to take control of one’s own life.
It means letting go of that passive or distressed attitude. To do so, you need to overcome obstacles such as breaking free from dependence and reflecting on how to replace frustration with more positive options.
When a woman enjoys her “drug of a man,” she feels euphoric; if she is deprived of her “drug,” she becomes depressed and may react aggressively, apathetically, or with insomnia, but she may also break the vicious cycle of dependence—or relapse again and again like an addict.
The decision to break free from a situation of emotional anorexia involves actively wanting to do something and having a positive desire to change things on one’s own.
Self-honesty:
The goal is to be honest with herself and develop a realistic perspective. She needs to be clear about what she really wants, and to do that, she must take stock of her situation.
What are his true feelings? What emotions is he suppressing? What causes him pain? What bothers him? What was she like before? What is she like now? What were his hopes?
Facing reality:
Although listening and learning to understand can sometimes be painful, waiting for a happy coincidence as the only way to achieve happiness is much sadder.
The important thing is not to shut down and to seek a conversation with your partner; we can decipher phrases that, on their own, aren’t conclusive, but when taken together, offer clues as to where the white lies are leading.
-“Don’t forget that I love you” (when I can)
-“I have obligations to fulfill” (my needs are my priorities)
-“Give me some time” (I’m still not sure about you)
-“I can’t promise you anything” (you’re the one who gets your hopes up)
-“My wife knows full well that she has me wrapped around her finger” (I give in to her blackmail)
-“You have to understand me” (don’t demand anything of me)
-“I’ve only ever experienced something like this with you” (I’m disoriented; the situation has me confused)
-“Find some other friends” (don’t smother me with your love)
-“I feel guilty about you” (tell me you like things the way they are)
-“My wife doesn’t understand me” (the freedom she gives me isn’t unlimited)
“I have a wife and kids; I can’t just get a divorce that easily” (our relationship is a bit of a gamble)
-“Tell my wife the truth? What good would that do? (Peace of mind—I don’t want to take any risks.)”
-“Of course I love my wife… she’s the mother of my children…”——- Ties are stronger than feelings
-“Forget about me”—– Either you give me everything, or you forget about me…
When the ultimatum comes, how can it end?…
-“The End as a Beginning”
The Lover decides to maintain her passive stance and must therefore resign herself to accepting the situation as it is—hiding and waiting.
-New Perspectives:
The relationship continues… but the dynamics shift in the mistress’s favor, which means greater honesty, equality… etc…
– End of the line:
If there is no clear and concise reaction, it leads directly to an “emotional divorce”—with all the pain that entails. After a complete breakup, countless doubts, fears, and a sense of emptiness arise, along with the need to redefine oneself, reorganize one’s life, find new paths, break out of isolation, and—why not?—make new friends.
How long does an extramarital affair last?
Two-thirds of women in second marriages try just as tenaciously—though in vain—to put an end to their love when they see no way out.
When an extramarital affair lasts between two and five years and the mistress admits to having tried “very often” or even “countless times” to end the relationship, we can say that pain and fear drive her, time and time again, into the arms of her lover.
Once this situation arises, any attempt to break up is almost always doomed to failure, since an addictive bond has already formed in which “he” is stronger than his own self-control.
When a married man accepts his mistress’s firm decision to end the relationship—claiming he is in no position to stop her and that he will not stand in the way of her choice—it makes her appear highly seductive to him, as she, contrary to her feelings, intends to end the relationship for rational reasons.
Different outcomes…
Option 1
From the observer’s perspective, most lovers shut themselves off and vehemently refuse to believe that behind their beloved’s tender and overprotective behavior, there might be thoughtless, unscrupulous frauds who, for the sake of marital harmony, seduce with promises someone who loves them.
It is likely that the relationship between a married man and his mistress will gradually fade over time. External pressure and a waning of romantic passion can all lead to a fresh start for the long-married couple. They air their dirty laundry, and the repentant husband restores marital harmony. This scenario isn’t necessarily typical, but it does occur relatively frequently.
Those whose hope has been inexhaustible suffer a tremendous disappointment when they are finally forced to acknowledge that they have served as the glue that holds their marriage together.
Option 2
There are times when a mistress’s hopes come true, when one fine day, he shows up at the door with a suitcase in hand. The downside is that these visits tend to be short-lived…
Without his wife in the background, the mistress eventually becomes just another routine, and within a few weeks, his marriage once again draws him back to his lover… He has a very hard time coping with leaving home, the new situation, and the emotional turmoil, so he flees back to take refuge in his old, familiar nest.
In these triangular relationships, it is difficult to break out of the role and undo that polygonal structure…
Option 3
Although sometimes, for lovers in love, hopes are fulfilled and dreams come true. They lived happily ever after!
There’s an exception to every rule… and this one proves the rule…
What’s left…
The Lovers are women who… do indeed have a bag full of memories, a trace of bitterness in their past, thousands of moments of happiness, another two thousand of pain that fill diary after diary… piles of letters that will never reach their recipients… sentimental poems…
Time healed her wounds, and she feels that no woman ever loved him the way she did… perhaps no one ever will…
Many of those “Lovers” often look back on their past as lovers as a painful yet beautiful and enriching time in their lives…For the most part, their hopes were dashed, but after a long process, they have learned to LIVE in the HERE and NOW without giving anything up and relying only on what is necessary.
