Pheromones… love at first whiff
June 30, 2026We suggest some games for couples looking to boost their desire and shake off the boredom and routine that sometimes take over relationships. There are many possibilities, but we’ll highlight three that are particularly effective at encouraging initiative, fantasy, and the desire for erotic encounters.
Weekly Warm-Up and Change of Scenery:
First, let’s plan the setting. To do this, find a day and a place that evokes intimacy—somewhere away from your usual bedroom and, if possible, away from your usual home as well.
Any place will do—a hotel room, etc.—it doesn’t have to be far away; even somewhere within the same city is fine. The important thing is that it’s a new place for your partner. Once you’ve chosen the place and the day for your romantic encounter, try to get things going—but by misbehaving… let me explain.
If, for example, we’ve made plans to go to a little hotel in the city that we’ve always wanted to visit in a week, during that time leading up to it we should try to seduce each other—though, of course, it would be best to hold off on sexual contact until the day arrives.
How can we start seducing each other? Well, by sending suggestive messages to your partner, sleeping naked, watching an erotic movie together (not porn—you won’t be able to resist it), giving massages, surprising your partner in the hallway and kissing them passionately—but only for a few seconds… Whatever comes to mind, but both of you must be absolutely clear that there will be nothing more than hints and minimal physical contact until the planned moment arrives. Spice up your hotel getaway with romantic lunches or dinners—and have your drinks at the hotel.
Note: Be careful not to go sightseeing before you get to the room; the goal is for both of you to be as well-rested as possible.
Erotic Stories:
The game involves each person reading their erotic stories to the other, while the listener closes their eyes and tries to imagine the scenes described in the text.
For this game, you’ll need to gather a good number of erotic stories, each no longer than four pages. It’s not very hard to find them—if you type “erotic stories” into any search engine, you’ll find numerous online communities dedicated to erotic literature where people share their creations.
The more stories you have, with different styles, themes, and practices, the better. The goal is to find the ones that excite you the most, but also the ones you think will turn your partner on the most. You should set a date and time to play the game, allowing at least three days to prepare.
During the preparation, each of you will read the selected erotic story or stories individually to familiarize yourselves with the characters. It’s important that the complexity of the stories builds gradually to avoid creating overwhelming situations.
With everything ready, the moment arrives, and everyone brings their story to the designated meeting place. It’s essential to set the right mood… soft lighting (bright enough to read) that complements the erotic atmosphere. There might be a drink or two… background music… and it’s crucial to pay attention to our appearance, perfume, etc. Once everything is ready, we undress—we can keep our underwear on—and, finding a comfortable position for reading, we move as close as possible to our partner. One suggestion is for him to sit down and for her to do the same, but with her back resting against his chest.
Once in this position, we’ll read the stories to each other, slowly and in a gentle, calm manner. During the reading, there may be caresses, and the reading can even be done softly into the other person’s ear, and so on, and so on…
P.S.: Just because a story turns us on doesn’t mean at all that we’d want to actually do what the text describes.
Bondage:
We suggest a very light set of bondage exercises. To start…you’ll need a basic kit to play hostage and captor, master and slave, dominant and submissive…whatever you prefer to call it. Our advice is to start slowly and only after resolving any sexual issues, since experimenting with this type of sexual play isn’t advisable when there are problems in the relationship.
You can pick up the accessories at a sex shop, though it’s not necessary. Keep in mind that the goal isn’t to actually tie your partner up—they don’t need to be unable to escape; in fact, it makes sense for them to be able to do so if they want to. Remember that this is a game, and the “hostage” won’t try to escape but rather to play their role. It’s essential that this be the case.
We need to create a pleasant atmosphere and find a time when there’s no risk of being discovered. We also have to blindfold each other for the game, so use a silk scarf, a blindfold, or anything else you can think of so the other person can’t see what’s happening. Do we have everything ready? Well, now the hostage—or slave—will have to lie down on the bed, be tied up, and blindfolded. Don’t hurt them. It’s a GAME!!!
The rule is that he or she can do whatever he or she wants with her or him to enjoy her or his body, while she or he may express nothing but moans of pleasure (obviously, before play begins, you must agree on which sexual practices you do not consent to and that are off-limits).
For the more daring among you, bondage can be taken much further, and the play can be much “harsher”; obviously, this is a personal decision that couples must make by mutual consent and not by surprise.
